Ceritanya kemarin siang saya mendapatkan undangan dari Pembantu Rektor III untuk menghadiri acara pelantikan BEM Universitas danÂ UKM-UKMÂ sekaligus pelantikan para pembina UKM dan stafÂ kemahasiswaan. Terus terang kemarin saya masih bingung dan belum tahu akan diberi tugas untuk menjadi apa. Siang tadi tepatnya jam 15.00 acara pelantikan dimulai dan ups….saya mendapatkan jatah sebagai pembina Unit Kerja Mahasiswa (UKM) Internet Club Unisbank atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan IC.Â Okelah, “idep-idep” belajar bareng dengan mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang kebetulan memiliki hobi yang sama yaitu bermain dengan dunia maya alias “internetan”.
Semoga saja dengan tugas yang baru ini saya bisa memaksimalkan fungsi dan tugas saya untuk belajar bersama-sama dengan mahasiswa agar lebih bisa mengembangkan dan memajukan kegiatan di Internet Club, sehingga nantinya bisa menghasilkan sesuatu yang dapat bermanfaat khususnya bagi para IC’ers dan berguna bagi seluruh mahasiswa Unisbank dan masyarakat disekitarnya.
Mungkin banyak hal yang masih bisa dieksplorasi lagi dari kegiatan-kegiatan dan program-program yang telah dilakukan IC sebelumnya. Seluruh civitas akademika Unisbank mengharapkan IC sebagai wadah representatif dari para pengguna dunia maya bisa menjadi pionir dan ujung tombak dari setiap kemajuan dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, sehingga nantinya bisa menjadi trigger dan spirit bagi mahasiswa yang lainnya untuk bisa memanfaatkan internet sebagai media pembelajaran dan sarana yang efektif dan cepat untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan…
